Personalized Spanish was created as a result of having worked in the field of teaching Spanish as a second language for many, many years.

NO BAD STUDENTS

We believe that there are no bad students; only people who have not been taught well.

If you struggled with learning Spanish and get confused, frustrated, and cannot remember what you learned just a week ago, you are not alone. Most Spanish schools have standard textbooks and each Spanish teacher has his or her consistent way of presenting material. It works for some, but not for all students because each individual has a unique way of perceiving and processing information. If the new information, especially as complex as a foreign language, is presented in a way that is not naturally easily perceived by a particular individual, it takes longer and it is harder for this student to learn. Showing pictures to a person who best perceives information by hearing it (Auditory learner) is not as effective as inviting him to listen to an audio tape of native Spanish speakers. Similarly, having the student read a textbook of rules, when she learns best by visualizing the picture (Visual learner) will be just as frustrating. Of course we all develop coping strategies and can learn in a variety of different ways, but receiving the information in a way that is natural to us (Natural Learning Style) makes it easier, faster, and more fun to learn. We also remember it better because memory recall is tied to the same mechanism as perception.

At our school, we not only design lesson plans based on your Spanish needs, but also on the best, most natural way for you to grasp the new information. We analyze your Natural Learning Style and structure our presentation and teaching techniques accordingly.

COMPLETE FLEXIBILITY

You pay good money to come and study Spanish with us. The least we can do is to make it convenient for you. Since we do not have large classes with tens of students together, we can offer you complete flexibility It is up to you how many hours per day do you wish to study or how many days per week. If you missed a class because of travel, illness or other reason, we will make it up, so you get all the classes you paid for.

NO SURPRISES

There will be no surprises and no hidden fees, like textbook fees, agency commissions for arranging your travel, homestay “upgrades”, and other extras some schools don’t tell you about. You will get the complete information and the only surprise will be how much fun it is to study Spanish at our school.
